Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as a Strategic Product Management.


Unit Description

Business Operations in Product Area Networks is an exciting place to be in the heat of Ericsson’s launches of 5G products across the globe. Product Area Networks is responsible for Ericsson’s network systems and wireless infrastructure business, which includes both software and hardware for generations of cellular technologies – from 2G to 5G – as well as baseband, indoor, site and transport portfolios.

As our portfolio is becoming more complex, we are in a transformation phase, where our unit is heavily involved to ensure market readiness of our product offerings. We play an important role in ensuring that Business Area Networks are ready to launch our new products, where we are aligned with other functions, such as pricing, services and supply. This brings a large portion of collaboration and networking within the Product Area Networks and also with other units cross Ericsson. We drive Product Area strategic programs, business performance, quality initiatives, operational excellence and efficiency.

In the transformation, we are in the process of reforming our organization and way of working. Therefore, we are looking for new colleagues who want to take an active role in driving a transformation, with high energy and strong business focus. We are looking for someone who will complement our Business Operations team, aiming for diversity, a strong unit collaboration, high degree of innovation and a learning culture in order to reach business excellence.

Role Description
You are a curious person who wants to take an active role in transforming product management into a more modern set-up which is keeping up with the technology shift in the industry.

To secure business profitability and technology leadership, you will show courage to lead a change where change management and communicative leadership will be key to success. You will, and you will also encourage others to, challenge comfort zones to always be prepared to change and adjust, when required.

You will join one of our transformation initiatives, identify a need for change, propose a solution and follow it through end to end. It can be in the area of digitalization, exploring a new way of working closely with our customers or taking an active role in modernizing our way of working. During this journey, you will build a personal network and gain experience from different parts of the organization, making yourself ready to take on a strategic role within product management.
