Job description:

There is an opportunity for BMAS Marketing & Communications to take a more proactive role to support sales engagement activities. This role would design and deliver on a sales engagement framework which enables Marketing & Communications (M&C) to offer proactive, value add support to key audiences such as:

  • BMAS Sales Support teams
  • MA Customer Marketing
  • Global sales community
  • SA Portfolio Marketing Managers
  • SA Heads

Ultimately M&C should be providing expertise, assets and creating opportunities for the sales communities to promote MS offerings. The framework would define where can we add most value and how we would add most value. This will include how we work with stakeholders listed above, and roles and responsibilities. This framework would be defined in close collaboration with Portfolio Marketing Managers; BA Sales Support; MA Customer Marketing teams and GF Customer Engagement & Events team.

Key deliverables would include, but not limited to:

  • Create & maintain MS engagement assets (MS narrative; value argumentation, proof points; customer testimonials etc)
  • Design and agree customer marketing plans to support targeted MS customers and MA’s, in collaboration with MA M&C customer marketing teams and MS Portfolio Marketing Managers
  • As Marketo Subject Matter Expert for BMAS, define nurture flows /demand gen opportunities and track performance of MS assets
  • Execute on those plans in collaboration with MA customer marketing teams
  • Regularly promote new assets & campaigns to sales communities – through briefings; customer newsletters etc.
  • Promote & encourage MS engagements in Ericsson Studio’s including driving MS refresh in Ericsson Studio in Kista, and ensure the latest MS content is available & visible in all Ericsson studio’s, globally
  • Maintain and update MS Sales Toolkit
  • Lead and support MS customer and internal events as agreed with Head of M&C. This may include covering different areas of responsibility, for e.g. project management, content creation, customer engagement pre and post event etc.
  • Work with BMAS M&C team to identify new engagement opportunities and support/drive as needed as well as continued collaboration on a daily basis.


Potential process flow: Supporting sales engagement request

  1. Sales engagement opportunity identified
  2. Identify objective of engagement with stakeholder
  3. Identify what assets exist already to fit the objectives
  4. Identify if there is potential to add additional value
  5. If yes, confirm budget requirements
  6. If budget is available, drive content creation with input/approval from stakeholder
  7. Once new asset is used, share with MA M&C community; Portfolio Marketing Managers & Sales communities for reuse
  8. Store in MS sales toolkit & promote as a new asset

Potential process flow: Proactive targeting of key MS accounts

  1. Define MS target accounts with SAs and MA customer marketing teams
  2. Based on priority, define a marketing plan per customer
  3. Leverage existing MS marketing assets
  4. Identify if there is potential to add additional value
  5. If yes, confirm budget requirements
  6. If budget is available, drive content creation with input/approval from stakeholder
  7. Once new asset is used, share with MA M&C community; Portfolio Marketing Managers & Sales communities for reuse
  8. Store in MS sales toolkit & promote as a new asset

Requirements
This role will require some travel, based on the project, but estimated to not exceed 20%.

In summary, this role someone with the passion and customer focus to proactively create and support MS engagements. To ensure that our engagement communities are equipped with relevant and timely assets to complement sales discussions and help grow the MS business.

This position is a direct report to the Head of BMAS Marketing & Communications and a member of the BMAS M&C Team.
