We are looking for an experienced Sydney-based Account Manager to secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development based on a fundamental understanding of our customers’ business, operations and objectives. In this role, you will actively manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end-to-end complex solutions across software and cloud infrastructure.

 

You will work exclusively with an Australian carrier customer and be part of an established team supporting this customer. To be successful in this role, you will need to develop both internal and external relations in order to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize customer relationships and loyalty
  • Create and build on sales opportunities that will generate profitability
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customers’ needs and objectives
  • Domain experience across Cloud Infrastructure
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities
  • Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit
  • The role also includes optimization of the account team’s performance and to enable seamless transition to operations

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering, Business, Master of Science or similar
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service attitude
  • Min 10 years of experience of relationship sales and/or proven work experience in dealing with customers
  • Strong software and Cloud infrastructure domain experience
  • Consultative selling skills and commercial understanding
  • You will need to have customer and market insight as well as strong negotiation skills 
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service attitude
