We are now looking for a 1st Level Senior Transmission Operations professional. This job role is responsible for the coordination, support, management and execution of reactive & Proactive fault and maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. The Senior role is an intermediary role providing a valuable link between 1st Level and 2nd level functions. As part of the role, the Senior engineer will also provide ad hoc training to 1st Level engineers as well as supporting GCS.
You will support the following systems and functions:
- Event management
- Incident Correlation
- Incident management end to end
- Fault Diagnostics & troubleshooting
- Assurance support activities
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- Minimum years of experience: 3-5 years’ experience of working in a 24/7/365 Transmission Operations centre.
- Industry recognised qualification
- Domain experience: area of expertise – SDH Transmission,Infinera & In depth knowledge of faulting and repair on Optical Fibre Network
