Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as System Developer at Product Development Unit 4G & 5G RAN organization within the within the Product & Architecture sector.

 

The product development unit is responsible for technical strategy, development, release and maintenance of the LTE and Radio Access Networks and the development and introduction of the 5G RAN and associated products. The unit’s mission is to secure growth through effective product development, outstanding time to market for new products and features as well as technology leadership by being first to market with 5G products and features.

The PDU 4G & 5G Product & Architecture units are located in Sweden (Kista, Linköping and Lund), Poland (Krakow and Lodz), Canada (Ottawa), China (Beijing) and South Korea (Seoul).

 

Within this PDU 4G & 5G Product & Architecture organization the Ericsson’s 5G Visions are turned into reality. We drive the system work, from strategies to detailed systemization and requirement definition including product care. We have a product focus meaning the system focus is to secure the long term product network strategy, product architecture, product capacity and characteristics, the 5G network management and security for the 4G and 5G Radio Access Network products.

Your profile

  • PhD or MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • Work experience of SW design and/or system design
  • Good knowledge of 3GPP based mobile communication systems and/or other IP based wireless technologies
  • Telecom business and Product aspect understanding
  • Product Development and Product Life Cycle flow knowledge
  • Programming and software development skills
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Excellent teamworking and networking abilities
  • Lean & Agile knowledge and skills
