Solution Architect (f/m/d) - Virtualized and Cloud Systems – Req. ID 277499

Location: Düsseldorf, Germany

 

Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Solution Architect with an excellent background in virtualized / cloud systems aiming to apply as well as develop his technical skills and have an opportunity to work with the strong customer focus in a telecommunication environment. You will:

  • Be the main technical contact for our customers for all issues which will come up in the customers live network
  • Analyze customer requirements together with the Service Delivery Manager, build the solution, provide cost estimation, drive scope management and apply change management, internally and for all 3PPs
  • Organize and drive customer workshops. Travel and work on customer sites (approx. 30%)
  • Troubleshoot alarms and performance issues within existing systems
  • Drive and resolve technical problems with the support of our internal organization
  • Identify further sales opportunities by listening to the customer, understand their needs and help them to reach their goals
  • Keep close cooperation towards the Service Delivery Managers as well as other stakeholders
  • Work in an international technical team

 

Your qualifications: 

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences
  • Experience in a telecommunications environment with a focus on Cloud, IP, Packet Core.
  • Minimum of 5 years of packet core engineering design and deployment experience
  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure architecture (CEE or others) as well as VNF applications
  • Good experience with infrastructure components from Cisco, Juniper, Pluribus, A10, F5
  • Proven experience in complex ICT system integration projects is a mandatory
  • IT security, Business Process Management, System testing knowledge
  • Knowledge of Virtualization, ServiceOriented Architecture, Web technologies
  • Excellent customer and service orientation with a consultative way of working
  • Very good communication skills and self-confidence in a changing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English is a must, German will be an advantage
  • Social and intercultural competence will round your profile
