Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as a Researcher at Systems & Technology in Lund.


Main description

5G is rolling out, and Ericsson is the leader in bringing it to market. Technology innovation was an integral part in making 5G happen. It will be equally important in exploiting 5G's full potential and start developing the communication solutions that will follow. Technology innovation takes talented and innovative minds that can bring ideas from basic studies to viable product solutions.


The Systems & Technology organization within Business Area Networks focuses on bringing research into concepts and hardware/software solutions that will enable next generation systems and products. We are responsible for technology leadership and research in technology (software and hardware) with focus on wireless systems. This is achieved through concept studies, system design, test beds, and driving technical innovation.


As part of Ericsson's Innovate Graduate Technology Program we are looking for talented minds that aim for a career in technology leadership. We offer an opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of challenging problems, ranging from theoretical studies to advanced hardware and software implementation. 


Key Qualifications:

  • Recent (2-3yrs degree M.Sc) or PhD within electrical engineering, computer science, or similar
  • Professional experience from R&D or technology development
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job
  • A fascination with new and emerging technologies
  • Global mobility
  • Curiosity, learning agility, strong drive & high aspiration
