Location: Lewisville, Texas
We are now looking for a Software Developer to work on implementing Smart Manufacturing use cases in our Lewisville, TX Production Site. Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
Our Exciting Opportunity:
— You will drive strategic technical leadership, be responsible for design, development, integrate and documentation using cutting edge engineering and delivery practices
— You’ll perform continuous analysis with a best in class local and global teams to create industrial & cloud based systems and solution in consultation with external and internal stakeholders
— Design, develop and test high quality products
— You have the ability to influence and drive exciting, challenging product development
— Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
— Bachelor and/or Master degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fields
— Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in software or automation design and development
— Strong experience in any of the following programming languages: C#, Python, Java
— Hands-on knowledge of the .NET framework, Service-Oriented-Architecture or OPC-UA (Open Protocol Communication – Unified Architecture)
— Hands-on experience with Agile development methodology. Use of Agile tool, e.g. JIRA or Hansoff.
— Experience with architecting implementing application leveraging appropriate technology and communication protocol stacks
— Working with people and networking
— Innovating, adapting and responding to change
— Delivery results and meeting customer expectations
— Planning and organizing
You might also have:
— Knowledge of industry 4.0 landscape and IIoT solutions.
— Experience with industrial robots, controllers and real-time control network
— Experience in data science and machine learning models.
