We currently have a rare and fantastic opportunity to join Red Bee Media as a Bookings Coordinator. Due to continued growth and demand, we have created this new position, which will report directly to the ‘Bookings Manager’.
You will be joining an already established team which is based at the Broadcast Centre in London (White City). The Broadcast Centre provides Post Production services for several clients including BBC Creative, BBC Worldwide and Red Bee Creative, specialising in promo creation as well as compliance Edits for Channel 5.
As the Bookings Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include;
• Providing schedules, Edits and Audio resources at the client’s request, while maintaining high utilisation and guaranteeing that deadlines are met
• Logging of client requests for both workflow and monthly reporting, together with maintaining those client relationships both in person and via E-mail
• Communicating project statuses, both internally and externally while being proactive in resolving issues, and in escalating problems correctly
• Ensuring Editor or Operator cover is maintained in all post-production areas, being aware of all work carried out by editors to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
• Liaising with and booking freelancers when required to help support and adhere to client agreements
• Communicate client needs to Editors, Edit Assistants and Audio Operators
• Ensure delivery of all relevant materials to client
To be suitable for this role, you should have experience in a similar position within Post Production, and be able to demonstrate your knowledge of Post Production processes and of file-based technology and workflows.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and you must be able to show initiative and work effectively, autonomously or as part of a team.
You must also have excellent planning skills and have the willingness to learn and develop your skills.
The Broadcast Centre can be a demanding environment, so you must have the ability to work under pressure and to tight transmission deadlines. Previous working knowledge of ScheduALL and MAM systems would be an advantage.
