Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Senior Integration Engineer with Cloud, Packet Core and VNF experience to support large Australian Telco client. As part of a team of 10, your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, upgrade expansion, functionality and capacity.  You will also have an understanding fo 5G Core concepts. Kebernetes and test automation experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential to be considered for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Solid experience in SGSN-MME, EPG, Sound knowledge of IP and Virtualisation
  • Positive attitude to problem solving and ability to work within teams to find solutions
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Plan the implementation of the product configuration / integration work
  • Execute product configuration
  • Execute integration and migration work
  • Prepare system test, module test and accept test
  • E2e technical understanding
  • Execute test if required
  • Scripting & coding
  • Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering/ICT or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Integration Engineer in Packet Core or OSS domain
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Solid communication skills written and verbal and ability to break down solutions with different diagram techniques
  • Technical delivery across the entire software lifecycle
  • Solid understanding of the web: protocols, web architectures, infrastructure, load balancing and high availability and designing for horizontal scale
  • Strong Linux experience with hands-on experience on technologies
  • Experience in knowledge transfer, documentation & information sharing activities
  • Analytical learning and researching skills
  • Delivering results & meeting customer expectations
  • You will need excellent planning and organizing skills

 

Other key criteria include:

  • Exceptional Communication skills (Presentation, Interpersonal and Influencing Skill) with strong verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Highly Developed team working and problem solving skills
  • Self-driven and self-motivated, ability to work independently under pressure and ability to work with less supervision
