Integration and Deployment Engineer

We are now looking for an Integration&Deployment Engineer for NextGeneration OSS (Cenx) - a new tool in Ericsson's Managed Services business. Cenx is an end-to-end service assurance tool designed for managing complex networks (hybrid networks, 5G, IoT), by automating and optimizing hybrid communications networks, supporting Machine Learning thus allowing service providers to deliver new services quickly, launch new business models and support new technologies cost effectively.

As an Integration & Deployment Engineer you will be able to use your experience and knowledge to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a node, network and/or system. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, upgrade expansion, functionality and capacity.  

 

Responsibilities
•    Software integration & having an understanding of various 3PP integration
•    Supporting pre-sales activities, including pre-studies 
•    Planning the implementation of the product configuration / integration work 
•    Executing product configuration 
•    Executing integration and migration work 
•    Developing solution components 
•    Preparing system test, module test and acceptance test plus tests automation wherever possible
•    Scripting & coding 
•    Delivery process automation and identifying improvements 
 
In this role you need to possess:
•    Good hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Postgress, Apache Ni-Fi, Qlik, Cassandra.
•    Knowledge of Shell Scripting (bash, perl, etc.)
•    Working experience with VMWare
•    Experience in Linux ( rhl / centos ) setup, and debugging
•    Experience with Clojure or another functional language a plus
•    Experience with Docker and JBOSS is a plus
•    Also as a plus: Agile and Scrum methodologies knowledge, DevOps methods and tools  knowledge
 
Key Qualifications:
•    Education:  Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom)
•    2-5 years’ experience in integrating systems.
