Job Summary:
Job Title: Commercial Manager – IoT Global Connectivity

 

Job Purpose:
Being the commercial responsible for Ericsson’s IoT offerings across geographies.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Be the commercial responsible for Ericsson’s IoT offerings across geographies and select MNO partners. This includes envisaging end enterprise needs across multiple use cases, mapping them to existing connectivity offerings available in the market and analysing them per use cases, footprint and business models, while constantly evolving with both enterprise and MNO partner needs.

 

Create the best possible offering using existing or future capabilities available at Ericsson. This may include product/offering configurations, Key Performance Indicator /Service Level Agreements and commercial offers to support our partners and customers.

 

This role would also be responsible for creating business cases for Ericsson’s partners and customers on a per deal and ongoing basis to determine the profitability of our offerings.

 

This role would also be the owner/arbitrator of the joint business development cooperation between partners and Ericsson across our footprint, while ensuring that all published regulatory directives are followed. They will closely cooperate with Ericsson’s partner MNOs and their customers.

 

This role would also be the owner of all sales forecasts, sales realization, sales plan and sales operations, including incentives calculations. Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs – internal, external and partner facing.

 

This role would be the final gate for all commercial offerings from Ericsson and select partners.

 

Experience and qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years as a commercial responsible at a tier 1 or 2 MNO, while being involved in value creation, product, sales operations organization.
• Demonstratable owner and creator of business KPIs.
• Business Graduate preferred, but not a barrier.
• Experience in dealing with 3 to 4 geographies from a commercial perspective
• IoT/Enterprise/Wholesale experience a plus

 

Traits:
• Comfortable with quantitative data based decision making using all tools of the trade like Excel, Data Analytics and database management.
• Commercial minded. Can judge the profitability of an offer on a standalone or wider picture merit.
• Understands MNO business from a commercial operations perspective. Specific experience from IoT, enterprise or wholesale perspective would be a plus.
• Can create product constructs and business cases in a telecom environment, for example: roaming, bundling, use cases, geographies, volume, minimum   commitment, growth projections.
• Self starter, self improver, self learner, self networker (across MNO counterparts)
• Great communication skills across multiple cultures and non-native English speakers.

 

Working Conditions
• Preferably located in Kista, Sweden but can be based remotely. Location not a constraint.
• Expected travel 30-40% initially. Once business is established, can work remotely.
• Full time role

 

Reporting
Line reporting to Head of Platform Services. Will be redeployed to specific project organization for a period of 24 to 36 months.
