Your journey into the Innovate Program will start as a Product Development Leader trainee at Packet Core in Göteborg.
At Packet Core at Ericsson in Göteborg, we are a unit of 800 highly talented engineers, creating the world’s best Packet Core products. Together with our global sites we are more than 1900 people, who have for more than 15 years provided the world with mobile broadband. Today, more than a third of the world’s population uses our products. We provide the mobile network with terabits speeds and focus now on creating a better tomorrow by improving the connected society and bringing 5G to the world. Your home unit will be Packet Core in Göteborg, Sweden. The program includes several different rotations, whereof at least one international assignment. The program will focus on developing your skills as a leader from many different perspectives, such as people leadership, strategic leadership and technology leadership. During the program you will be mentored by one of our senior leaders and attend several learning modules, both online and face-to-face. You will build both your local network in Gothenburg as well as your global network across our Packet Core sites in Europe and Asia. As the world is constantly changing, one of your tasks will be to lead different change initiatives. You will coach and develop individuals, teams and organizations.

- Proven leadership skills either from industry, academia or social activities
- Great collaboration skills and team player and have a genuine interest in people with different background and cultures
- Capability to lead during ambiguous, complex and constantly changing circumstances
- Genuine interest in software development and the principles of lean and agile ways of working
- Excellent communication skills
- Master of Science or similar, which is not more than 3 years old
