Manager of Indirect Sourcing & Procurement
As a part of establishing a manufacturing site in the US we are recruiting a Manager of Indirect Sourcing & Procurement. The chosen candidate will be building up the indirect sourcing function within the US manufacturing organization. He/She will in collaboration with global sourcing organizations build up a network of suppliers that can support operations.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Build up and lead the Indirect Sourcing Group for the US Manufacturing
- Lead and develop the employees within the department
- Source and Procure required items and services with agreed price, terms and conditions
- Identify, select, approve and negotiate agreements with suppliers
- Assure that agreements, meta and master data are registered in standard IT environments
- Basic knowledge of the products within the responsibility area
- Identify possibilities for improvements of routines, documentation and work process
- Develop commodity strategies and perform supplier governance
- Handling of invoice issues
