Sourcing Business Excellence Competence Manager

Job Summary:


We are now looking for a Competence Manager in the MMEA Sourcing Business Excellence organization (the general global job role is categorized as Sourcing Functional Development Manager). You will be challenged to generate value for Ericsson by driving business, operational, organizational, technology and competence subject matters. You will actively recognize emerging trends, problems, and business needs. You will be able to provide creative solutions to be applied wherever necessary by designing, developing, and securing deployment of strategies, policies, processes and tools in your own area of expertise. And you will be effective by, securing performance, ensuring consistency and globalization whilst providing expert advice within the Functional Area.




·         Map MMEA Sourcing org. needs continuously (Sourcing Survey, ITM, Voice, Line Manager discussions etc)

·         Develop a yearly MMEA training overview plan to make sure critical training needs are addressed asap.

·         Develop a strategic training plan based on sourcing org’s wanted position incl. 5G preparation, preparing new leaders, maximize competence and adherence in RR and WoW

·         Support global SBE competence org. in preparation of and roll out of global competence projects

·         Coordinate global and local training programs

·         Ensure constant improvement in the regional training plan by evaluating and challenging training programs (do they fulfil their purpose? ROI? Etc.)

·         Work closely with performance managers to measure competence development in MMEA

·         Implement and drive a global certification program


Key Qualifications:


  • Education: Academic degree or the equivalent level of knowledge. 
  • Min 3 years of experience
  • Domain experience: Sourcing/ Sourcing Business Excellence

  • Knowledge and understanding of market trends and Best in Class practices
  • Global mindset and ability to drive change and results in a matrix organization
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of:
    • Improvement process and ways of working
    • Strategy development and deployment process
    • IT Process
    • Sourcing process and ways of working
    • Preferably with experience from working in other sourcing job roles
