Material Capability Planner

As a part of establishing manufacturing operations Ericsson is now looking for a Material Capability Planner (MCP). The chosen candidate will analyse the available inbound material to determine the capability to meet customer demand. He/She will also highlight shortages and drive actions to close gaps to meet the demand.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide material capability analysis within 1–12 week window;
  • Follow-up Inbound material supply commitments;
  • Work with customer demand and contribute to creation of short term plan;
  • Perform material availability analysis, address critical and high risk components;
  • Collect data and put together business critical reports.

 

To Succeed in this role, you will have: 

 

  • University degree or equivalent job experience;
  • Three (3) plus years of relevant international experience from the field of Production, Purchasing or Logistics;
  • Good analytical skills, business and financial understanding;
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, SAP and/or other Supply Chain Software tools;
  • Ability to achieve challenging targets, have a strong personal drive and social skills;
  • Be a team player and have the ability to solve problems both individually and in a team;
  • Willingness to acquire new knowledge.
