We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer.

 

Position purpose

Responsible analyzing, preparing, implementing and verifying the installation, configuration and integration of Ericsson Expert Analytics (EEA) Big Data Solution, a real-time, multi-vendor, cross-domain, big data analytics solution tailored for telecom. Scope includes introducing, upgrading, expanding functionality, and integrating EEA with other customer systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan the implementation/Installation of the Product Configuration / Integration work
  • Deploy and Configure EEA 
  • Integrate EEA with other systems
  • Improve the continous integration of the product
  • Prepare Internal & customer acceptance test plans and handover to customer
  • Identify and drive improvements
  • Perform Post-Project activities including system upgrades
  • Provide feedback to product development and write trouble reports
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation & information sharing

     

    Requirements

  • Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, MapR, Cloudera, HBase, HDFS, Spark, NiFi)
  • Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem (Zabbix, Redis, Kafka, etc)
  • Expertise in shell scripting
  • Familiar with different virtualization and orchestration technologies (docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment using agile methodology is desirable)
  • Telecommunication domain knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Experience with JBoss, Oracle, Java and Scala is a plus
