Job Summary:

We are looking for a Market Area Transformation Driver, to lead continued transformation of our sales ways of working to ensure that the goals for upcoming phases are met, stakeholder’s expectations are fulfilled and that the relationship across the various organizations is handled in the best possible way.

Responsibilities:

  • Communications: Actively participate in global change network forums and facilitate communications between the global team & MANA
  • Business Perspective: Provide perspective of what will and will not work within MANA; offer advice around Ericsson culture and make recommendation on what is suitable for MANA
  • Dashboard KPI Reporting: Ensure adoption, workforce, sales business performance and other KPIs are tracked and adhered to. Draw insights from detailed analysis to drive the right culture and behaviors. Define & proactively drive KPIs and focus on new business opportunities
  • User Acceptance: Driver of the changes. Answer questions about the initiative and encourage others to become involved within MA and get excited about it.
  • Post-Deployment Adoption: Participate in milestone and deployment activities providing support for MA (front-line and post implementation)
  • Training Facilitation: Identify trainers and track progress according to agreed training plan. Provide feedback on the approach and materials
  • Team Management: Lead virtual/functional team to support CU/KAM to grow topline effectively
  • Problem Solving: Conduct in-depth discussions with the stakeholders & analyze business environments, technical requirements, plans & issues
  • Sales Efficiency: Create visibility for CUs to generate & manage leads to increase sales funnel size and quality
  • Knowledge Sharing: Drive knowledge transfer among relevant communities within Ericsson impacted by change
  • Generate Excitement: Develop & deliver presentations including solution roadmap, value argumentations & business cases towards senior stakeholders
  • Personnel Management: Recruit, manage, teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations, fostering a creative and learning culture

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors/ Master of Business Administration, Science or similar
  • Substantial experience from sales/solutions at Ericsson or equivalent with focus on customer management
  • 10+ years of transformation/ business development/ sales and operational excellence knowledge required with at least 5 years in leadership and sales related positions
  • Thorough knowledge of Ericsson commercial management areas including pricing, CPQ, contract etc.
  • Experience working in a direct customer-facing role with related pre-sales responsibilities is required
  • Excellent communication skills, team player attitude and ability to build a trustworthy and lasting relationship with Customer Units and other internal organizations is necessary for this position
  • Problem Solving & Strategic Thinking
  • Solid Negotiation & argumentation Skills
  • Expert Business Understanding and strong business acumen
  • Familiar with “Agile” ways of working
  • Knowledge of Ericsson’s sales methodology, FA sales and product portfolio
  • Experience with a global transformation project
  • Understanding of domains, CUs, BAs, DT and IT organization

 

The Opportunity:

 

The commercial excellence and sales transformation team will support MANA by successfully driving key sales and commercial initiatives across various business and customer units in a collaborative manner. The ideal candidate in this role will lead the change in the region to realize transformation ambitions in coordination with FA sales and other units. The appointed person will be accountable for rolling out adoption strategies of new ways of working, process and enabling platforms (based on change impact analysis). Significant time will be spent in building up the change network to create excitement and adoption.

 

Work Environment:

  • The employee will be based in the Ericsson’s Plano office.  The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a typical office/workstation situation.
  • Ability to travel, as required
