Job Summary:

 

Ericsson Network Security (ENS) is a global competence center for security, supporting Ericsson to be a prime driver in Security & Privacy enabling the Networked Society. We organize in cross

functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Our organization develops software assets that provide security functionalities for several products included in the Ericsson portfolio, as for example hardware root of trust, Identity Management, Key Management, Certificate management, O&M Authorization and Access control. Our team is mastering key technologies as hardware-based security and Cloud Native security, to protect all aspects of today’s computing needs.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Product Development leader that will lead and strengthen our organization. We work according to Agile and Lean principles and have end to end responsibility for our products, indeed the organization  includes scrum teams as well as key supporting roles as Strategic Product Manager, Operational Product Owner, and Architects. 

 

You will report to the Head of development unit Middleware IP & OS (MIPOS) part of the Product Development Unit Component Development (PDU CD), and you will be an active member of the leadership team contributing to the success of our organization.

The Development unit MIPOS is a global organization and beyond Finland operates in Sweden and Hungary.

 

As Leader you are expected to:

  • Coach and support individuals and teams during the whole development flow: from requirements to maintenance.
  • Take care of people professional growth.
  • Secure the organization has the needed capability and support to contribute to our operations.
  • Drive the long-term technology evolution for the portfolio of security components
  • Be responsible for budget, forecast, recruitment, and staffing within your area of responsibility.

 

Qualifications

 

  • You are an experienced leader in software development with a proven track record of mix of hands-on development and people leading skills.
  • You have a natural ability to get people to follow you and you enjoy to see others succeed.
  • You are a security enthusiast, always up-to-date with the latest concepts and standards.

 


Requested competence:

  • Extensive knowledge, and recent successful track record of R&D International Line Leadership of SW Development, and solid knowledge of delivering software products to commercial release.
  • Good business and market understanding and capable of seeing the big picture 
  • Proven strong leadership skills, particularly: people and thought leadership skills.   
  • Ability to empower and inspire people to higher motivation in a larger organization. You are a good communicator and strive for continuous and open communication. 
  • Organizational innovation and change management through strong solution orientation. 
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and personal experience from its implementation and scaling in large development organizations with technically complex systems is a strong advantage.
  • Technology and/or product knowledge within the responsibility area of Security is a key advantage.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. You must be fluent in oral and written English and have excellent presentation skills.

 

Approved security clearance is required for the position and will be carried out for the selected applicant. (Security Clearance Act 726/2014)
