Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Head of IoT Operations for our Connected Intelligence Studio.  The Connected Intelligence Studio (CIS is a new organization within Ericsson designed to bring a co-creation and rapid innovation approach to develop minimum viable IoT products. You will get to leverage our market leadership in cellular IoT, 5G and connectivity management coupled with our aaS IoT platform (IoT Accelerator) to unleash the IoT business potential for leading companies within North America. As the operations leader, you will be accountable for the oversight of the development of IoT minimum viable products, success of co-creation workshops, defining studio processes and best practices, and senior leadership reporting. This position requires the candidate to work in partnership with a multitude of internal organizations and senior leadership.


You will:

  • Be at the heart of developing minimum viable IoT products
  • Drive rapid prototyping cycles from technical requirements, software designs, programming, debugging, and optimization with the UX Designers and IoT Architects and Developers.
  • Explore and innovate new technologies, features, and tools
  • Consult on a regular basis with leadership to align expectations and deliverables
  • Be resourceful and leverage the small team to the fullest to work on multiple parallel POCs and incubation efforts.
  • Manage and organize Studio events - including co-creation workshops with partners.


You have:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership
  • Seven or more years of experience in software development cycle.
  • Design Thinking knowledge and Rapid Prototyping experience
  • Deep understanding of the IoT ecosystem
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Operational discipline
  • Leadership and management
  • Financial acumen
  • Communication, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
  •  “Get to CAN” attitude and behavior
  • Relentless focus on operational excellence
  • KPI expertise, both developing and managing teams to them
