Who we are
Board Power Design at Lindholmen is responsible for research, development and maintenance of Board Power solutions to the majority of the Ericsson Product Portfolio. We are a part of the Ericsson’s global design organization and engaged in developing products for the present and future mobile networks. At our site we are five sections forming a competence center with responsibility to provide power solutions to the Ericsson organization.
Board Power Microwave is now looking for an experienced power HW designer with a deep interest in power solutions and analogue design. We offer a designer position in an engaged hardware design team, a team that is responsible of delivering power solutions for Ericsson's Microwave products. You will work in close cooperation with other power design teams, other HW design teams and develop world class power solutions. You will interact with design disciplines across Ericsson, such as digital/radio design, layout design, system design and production sites.
The job is in the area of product development and includes:
- Board power design (DC/DC converters, power architectures, POL converters, EMI filters)
- Design and evaluation of components, protection circuitry, supervision and control functions
- Schematic design and support of board layout
- Power design verification
- Contribute to the strategic analysis of future design trends
- Act as mentor within the technical area
- Application of simulation models and power budgets
- Production support
We use the latest design and simulation tools in order to develop our world class products. We keep track of new technology, methodology and design techniques, ensuring that our design activities are kept at a world class level.

You take initiative and are willing to adopt new methods and techniques. You work well independently, but you are also a team player with good communication skills that establishes good relations. You have worked some years within the field and have:
- BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering or equal
- Three years of experience from power hardware design
- Experience in schematic drawing and laboratory environment (instruments, measurement techniques etc.)
- Power component knowledge
- Fluent in English.
- Analytic and inquisitive mind
