We are on a journey towards building the future of wireless connectivity, and we want you on our team! Regional Carriers team is looking for a Sales Director that has a proven track record of both account management and new business development in the telecom/datacom industry, covering wireless, wireline, ITC. You will participate in direct customer dialogues at the highest levels, providing experience and knowledge across a majority of the Ericsson portfolio. This role is based in Plano, TX.

 

The opportunity:

  • You will own the relationship at established our customers and develop business at potential new customers.
  • You will have the ability to use your solutions/consultative sales approach to develop relationships with senior and executive decision makers
  • Be able to leverage our commercially ready 5G RAN portfolio

 

You have:

  • 10+ years direct sales experience in the Telecom/Datacom industry, covering wireless, wireline, ITC
  • Strong communication skills including ability to write and deliver compelling presentations and business letters
  • A good grasp of the key Regional Wireless Operator business drivers.
  • Strong background in solutions/consultative sales approach at the executive level with ability to translate business needs to product solutions
  • Commercial understanding
  • Collaboration & Influencing skills: Highly effective in working with peers, partners, and various supporting organizations.
  • Negotiation & argumentation skills
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time including extensive air travel and multi hour car trips
  • Bachelor’s degree
