Job Summary

The Sourcing Excellence team is transforming Ways of Working within Strategic Sourcing by optimizing value including eliminating wastes. We provide several consulting services including: creating actionable analytics with visualization, leading sprint performance improvement projects, elevating our sourcing methodology with leading practices and developing competences to be a frontline commercial function.

The Sourcing Excellence Analyst increases value for Ericsson from involvement with business, operational, organizational, technology and competence subject matters.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  1. Visual Analytics – Leverage Tableau to identify and drive opportunities to optimize value (UM, Working Capital, etc.)
  2. B2BCM Analysis – Leverage the new Bid-to-Bid, Bid-to-Current, Bid-to-Market tool to analyze all bid proposals from suppliers. Provide price feedback and intelligence to leverage in negotiations.
  3. Sourcing Events Consultant – Consult with Category Managers to develop Sourcing Events with the end in mind. Guide them through the process and help build the best Sourcing Event.
  4. Performance Improvement – Leverage Lean and Six Sigma to reduce non-value add activities and eliminate defects throughout sourcing processes (SBP, Strategic Sourcing, SRM, CLM and potentially P2S)

 

 

Position Qualifications

  • Strong Excel and/or database knowledge is required
  • Previous Tableau experience is preferred

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree. No previous work experience is required, but some work experience is preferred.
