Job Title: Team Assistant
Base: Broadcast Centre, W12
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
In a nutshell
This role is ideal for someone looking for their first break in the creative agency world. It’s an entry level position that would suit a bright and sparky grad who wants to learn, grow and take on other challenges in the agency. Previous people to hold the position have moved into roles in the Production and Account Management and Planning teams – a clear career progression that we’re keen to encourage in the future.
A bit about Red Bee
Red Bee is the creative agency born in entertainment. We create brands and campaigns that people choose to spend time with. We’re a tight-knit team of about 30 people, made up of strategists, creatives, designers, writers, editors, and producers all working together in our London studio.
Our clients are some of the biggest media brands in the business, including NBCUniversal, Netflix, Discovery, Disney, and Fox, to ‘non-media clients’ such as Oasis Fashions, Westons Cider, Nissan and Unicef.
Our work spans a wide range of disciplines in marketing communications, including strategic brand consultancy, the creation of integrated brand campaigns, social and digital campaigns, and brand design and identity.
We’re extremely proud of the work we produce and we’re amongst the best in the world at creating it.
We define ourselves as curious, collaborative and can-do, and we look for those traits in people joining our team at whatever level they join.
The Team Assistant is a key role for Red Bee – it’s the person who supports the day-to-day running of the agency. This role works most closely with the Deputy Managing Director and the Account Management team to make sure that the agency always runs efficiently.
The role is broad and challenging – getting stuck into a lot of what’s going on in the business. Specifically, the role consists of tasks including diary management, setting up meetings, greeting visitors, arranging catering, opening job codes, managing senior management travel, reporting any office issues to the building admin team, liaising with IT to resolve tech problems, being the voice of Red Bee (answering the phone and our email@example.com emails), pulling together materials for our weekly agency meetings, arranging for the payment and collection of invoices, entering creative work for awards and liaising with event organisers.
It also covers the management of our social media platforms to help promote Red Bee (Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram) as well as ensuring all creative work is uploaded to our YouTube channel and the organisation of agency and client events (e.g. Summer Party/Annual Red Bee TV Quiz).
Responsibilities also extend to entering and tracking financial information and maintaining spreadsheets, as well as managing the creative asset library (a digital store of all of our work) and social media accounts.
