Software Support Engineer
NSI (New Software Introduction) is the unit in PDU OSS inside Business Area Digital Services of Ericsson to provide superior product support and service.
NSI CHINA SH is looking for Ericsson Orchestrator software support engineer who is obliged to be responsible for following:
Provide support in product technical query and troubleshooting problems.
Register trouble report towards R&D
Provide on-site product integration support in customer delivery project.
Summarize the problems found and provide preventive action proposals
Customer support request according to the defined process
Collect feedback from customer side and submit to R&D program to continue improving product
Take emergency duty and support on critical cases
BA+ telecom or computer science education background
Good at Linux system operation
Experience with networking (Configuring IPs / routes) on Linux, L2/L3 network trouble shooting.
Experience knowledge of Openstack
Experience with RedHat KVM/ VMware
Python scripting ability is must and Java programming skill is preferred.
Fluent oral and written English
Good communication and team work
Be able to work under pressure
Customer project/support experience is preferred.
This is China Shanghai based position.
