Role: Graduate Marketing and Branding Assistant

The Role 

The role is part of the Global Pontoon Solutions team, working exclusively for Ericsson.  It will play a key role in driving initiatives in Employer Brand, Diversity and University Relations to support a high volume of international recruitment. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Create, curate and share content on Career Site, LinkedIn and social media. As well as champion this communication amongst colleagues and the wider Ericsson community.

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition leaders to interpret and implement the global Employer Brand strategy applying local branding considerations and local market data 

  • Supporting Ericsson and Pontoon colleagues to organise and communicate strategic initiatives 

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to leverage Ericsson’s employer brand to support our candidate attraction strategy 

  • Identify and coordinate recruitment/branding events in the UK and abroad 

  • Work with colleagues to maximise the success of our student ambassador programmes 

  • Act as University Relations Lead to implement local strategy and engagement 

  • Coordinate and support gender hiring strategy execution

Essential Experience 

  • Experience working with corporate social media or at least able to demonstrate an awareness on how to leverage on this to drive Employer Brand 
  • Excellent project management, presentation and consulting skills  

Desirable 

  • Experience in developing and/or delivering branding via both digital and non-digital assets (e.g. social media, internet pages, marketing/promotional materials, etc) would be highly desirable 

  • Experience with marketing and branding 

  • Experience with working on Diversity awareness programs and initiatives 

  • Experience with working in a Fortune 500 company with a complex matrixed organization structure and business model 

  • Experience working in an international company with virtual teams  

 

Pontoon is the employer for this position, the role will be dedicated to and based on site at the Ericsson office in Reading, some travel to other customer locations or Pontoon offices may also be required.
