Account Director (m/f/d) (Ref.: 266405) - Temp. Contract

Location: Home Office (Germany)


This is a newly created role within the regional Red Bee Media leadership team, reporting to the Head of Sales for the Market area, headquartered in the Netherlands. You will be responsible to lead, build, develop, and inspire a skilled and diverse team,  across the DACH market, with a primary focus on Germany. You will drive, coordinate and enable our strategic and tactical sales growth plans, as we evolve through technology innovation, to a global, scalable, platform-enabled service model.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Red Bee Media in the broadcast and cable marketplace and become an active Red Bee Media advocate
  • Prospect and close business within a targeted list of accounts
  • Build client relationships and achieve quarterly revenue goals
  • Guide product development in gathering customer requirements
  • Work closely with our Market area head in the Netherlands, to ensure client expectations are communicated internally



In this role you will need to be able to demonstrate exceptional and proven leadership, change management and communication skills, you will be culturally aware and comfortable working in a global and diverse team.

You should have an extensive background in managing relationship sales, or product marketing with a significant proportion of time in leadership positions.

You have good solid operational knowledge and understand business models and engagement of outsourcing/managed services. You’ll also have strong business and financial acumen as well as Innovative and creative thinking

This newly created role would suit you as a perseverant, open-minded individual, with a passion to win. You will be a person who is responsive and result oriented and who excels at problem-solving and critical thinking with a proven ability to enable teamwork and collaboration



  • Min. 5 years of experience selling in the broadcast /media industry (software, hardware, services), ideally in direct sales of video platform services
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in German and English is a MUST
