We are now looking for a Network Engineer that will be responsible for performing radio network design and planning to meet customer requirements. You will be mainly involved in service delivery but also support pre-sales activities Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.

 

Core Network Performance - Network Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing customer-tailored systems for network performance analysis.
  • Supporting and participating in software development efforts with various customer and third-party teams.
  • Planning of the measurement sequences to efficiently detect performance issues within packet core network.
  • Driving and supporting automation activities.
  • Supporting the tuning and optimization teams to continuously improve network performance.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Technical university degree in ICT or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in C/C++/Python software development.
  • Solid understanding of the network protocols in mobile core network.
  • Enjoys working closely with customers (often at customer’s premises).
  • Team-oriented.
  • Ability and motivation to quickly learn about new products and technologies.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English as well as German or French is required.
