Responsibilities & Tasks:

As the Department Manager of Traffic and Platform, you will be leading the TC and Platform Production cross sites. This includes responsibility for L3, O&M, Platform and Radio software development with quality and evolution. This includes responsibility for each area module test strategy, track management, heavy feature developments. The unit is multi-site with units in Beijing and Guangzhou. You will report to the Head of PDU 4G5G Customer Adaptation.

 

You will be securing and responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering traffic control related features in 4G and 5G requirement areas and solutions to meeting customer requirements.
  • O&M and Platform design based on global product according to customer requirements.
  • Supporting radio development and issues troubleshooting as the interface from RAN side.
  • L3 Module Test Strategy and strategy execution activities in the scope of TC programs and Technical management.
  • Securing a strong module and architecture from both a development and test perspective.
  • L3/O&M/Platform team long-term direction towards 4G and 5G business challenges and opportunities
  • Excellent communication towards key stakeholder, product line, internal BB organization, internal PDU and external PDU.

•    Experience of working in a leadership team  as a leader of leaders
•    Result oriented with a strong high level product development background
•    Solid experience of managing a complex unit with a multitude of interfaces
•    Strong leadership skills in line with Ericsson core values and leadership framework
•    Interest and good understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working
•    Excellent skills in communication and in handling relations
•    Business and customer understanding is key for this position
•    You have a genuine interest in people.
•    Ability to work and cooperate across organizational boundaries 
•    Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks.
•    Find it stimulating to work with change management and teamwork/cooperation across the organizations.
•    Excellent English skills in both writing and conversation is a must
•    University level education
