Key Qualifications

  • Capability to handle 24x7 Operations.
  • Education: Bachelor in Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech in IT, Telecom)
  • Minimum years of expiriance-4.8-8years
  • Ability to lead discussions, interface and work closely in a cross functional team achieve common goals.
  • Must be passionate about technology and learning new concepts.
  • Self-Motivated Individual with positive (Must-win) attitude and ready to take up challenges.
  • Must be ready to walk the extra mile to earn customer confidence and be able to exceed client expectations
  • Must possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills – both verbal and written.
  • Must have excellent Documentation skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Must be able to independently create end-to-end solution, design IP/MPLS transport networks for multiple different services.
  • Clear concept and strong technical domain knowledge in routing and switching (Juniper is an added advantage).
  • Good knowledge and experience of using IP/MPLS Protocols such as BGP, OSPF,ISIS,VRRP,LDP,RSVP-TE. Design and implementation Knowledge on L2  & L3 services using – VPLS / HVPLS / MP-BGP
  • Experience in troubleshooting Large L2 and L3 based VPNs over IP/MPLS networks
  • Internetworking troubleshooting experience. Good analytical skills and ability to debug network issues.
  • Ability to convert customer requirements into a technical solution.
  • Routing/ switching/ security Architecture & Technology Knowledge of products from leading IP/MPLS vendors (Cisco/Juniper)
  • Industry technical certifications desirable.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Creation of end-end IP/MPLS solutions for transport of multiple services, consumer and internet service providers, using the required mix of Juniper/Cisco products as required.
  • Provide customization to the deployed solution, as required to support new requirements from operators on continual basis.
  • Carry out presentations and participate in technical discussions with customers as required.
  • Support trials/ new product introductions in the customer network by supporting and conducting POCs.
