We are seeking software developers with various level of experience to join the Ericsson base station Baseband development team

 

JOB SUMMARY


5G NR is the next generation of broadband wireless technology. The successful candidate with join a collaborative, helpful work teams where knowledge sharing is valued and plenty of help is provided!
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


This role requires an individual to design, implement and integrate functionalities for Ericsson’s base station products.

It requires the employee to:

 

  • Develop software, implement new functionalities in C/C++ code, in a multi-core target environment
  • Apply knowledge of real-time software development and wireless communication protocols
  • Trouble-shoot and integrate complex new pieces of software, at times in a lab environment
  • Develop automated test cases to ensure existing functionality is never degraded by new software
  • Perform software deliveries using a software version control system
  • Document system analysis, software designs and test plans
  • Follow an Agile product development process, working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • At time, provide trouble shooting investigation into tester and customer issues and provide solutions for those issues
  • Develop in depth competence in some technical domains


 QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Experience developing software for real time multi-core embedded products
  • Strong C/C++ coding skills, experience with GIT and associated tools
  • Scripting languages is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience on wireless technologies
  • Basic understanding of the LTE/NR standard
  • Experience troubleshooting real time embedded software platforms
  • Comfortable working in cross functional teams and independently
  • Strong communication skills, innovating, adapting and responding to change
  • Passion for quality, delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Bachelor’s degree level, or higher, in a technical discipline
  • A proven track records in software development related to data communication and wireless technologies is a bonus
