Thesis worker - Statistical approach on power, thermal and reliability analysis in advance antenna r
We are now looking for a thesis worker who should develop and implement a simplified statistical method on power, thermal and reliability analysis on an advance antenna radio systems. Advanced antenna systems comprises of arrays of components, where the variation in power dissipation and physical dimensions can be described by statistical measures. The idea is to develop a simplified simulation method/set-up for thermal analysis, utilizing this statistical description, in order to mitigate over-design of the system (reduce cost). This will generate a temperature distribution of the components in the system. As a second step (or in parallel with a companion student), the temperature distribution shall be used for estimation of the reliability/life-time of the components and the system.
The work may partly be done in cooperation with a fellow thesis worker at Saab
