Job Summary 

The Internal Communications Specialist – Global Sales is responsible for managing internal communications for Ericsson’s global sales community. We are seeking an experienced communicator to develop and execute internal and executive communications to engage employees in our sales transformation and other sales excellence programs. Responsibilities will include promoting sales best practices from our market and business areas, developing and executing communications plans and managing the ongoing communications program. This person also will provide communications counsel and support to leaders and teams. 

 

The role will report to the head of internal communications for Ericsson North America, while primarily providing support to the Global Sales Excellence & Customer Experience organization, driving our “one Ericsson” agenda for sales across the company. 

 

You will have the opportunity to: 

  • Create and design communications plans, materials and activities to support our business needs and strategy with special focus on the change required for our ongoing sales transformation within Ericsson’s five global market areas 

  • Coach and advise leaders on communications strategies 

  • Influence change through the writing of key leadership messages and organization communications 

  • Produce focused team newsletters and maintain relevant websites towards the sales community and selected target groups 

  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and talking points for webcasts and live meetings 

  • Provide internal communications support for additional projects within Market Area North America 

 

The right candidate will have: 

  • Strong writing and editing skills  

  • Excellent presentation development skills 

  • Strong project management skills 

  • Experience with executive coaching and communications consulting 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional global teams and lead through influence 

  • Audio/visual production skills  

 

You Will Also Have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field  

  • 5-7 years of corporate communications experience with a focus on internal and executive communications 

  • Experience in the telecommunications, information and communications technology (ICT) or other related industries 

  • Passion for communications and employee engagement 

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with different stakeholders and a broad variety of responsibilities across global time zones 

  • Ability to design communication solutions in support of business needs and strategy 

  • Experience managing a high volume of work, quickly, efficiently and of exceptionally high quality 

  • Demonstrated ability to think independently, strategically and effectively 

  • Create messages with internal stakeholders 

  • Ability to manage communication channels 

  • Strong presentation skills 

  • Experience in external communications; specifically, building sales collateral 

  • Experience in positioning of products, skills (people) and ways of working (process) 

  • Ability to travel approximately 25% 

 

Needed Skills: 

  • Expert in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 

  • Strong writer and editor 

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver 

  • Website design and maintenance (Microsoft SharePoint) 

  • Video editing experience preferred
