Purpose & Background

 

The purpose of this thesis is to conduct an analysis of the end to end development flow for the development of a large software product in the Ericsson Revenue Management domain. As a large transformation in ways of working across product areas and organizations is being conducted currently, there is a need to analyze how these changes impact key performance indicators, such as lead-time, quality, cost, and time to market.

 

Thesis description

 

The thesis should conduct an analysis of relevant data repositories, e.g. the progress of customer requirements throughout the flow. Then based on a set of hypotheses on possible patterns, a deeper analysis on what conclusions can be drawn from the data should be made. The primary data source is a requirement management tool from which data export to data analysis tools such as MS Excel can be done for further analysis. On needs basis, contextual information needs to be retrieved via interviews and from associated project and product documentation.  

 

Requirements/ key qualifications

 

You have experience from working with data analysis in MS Excel or similar and statistical analysis in general. You speak and write English fluently.

We believe this thesis needs to be done by two students working as a team and you should be located in the in Karlskrona area since physical presence at the Ericsson office there will be needed on a regular basis.
