Position Summary

As a Developer you will develop & maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation.

 

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • General responsibilities:
    • Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
    • Develop and Test High Quality Products
    • Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
    • Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes

Role responsibility focus: develop Ericsson RAN products in agile team with end to end capacity throughout the SW life cycle, typically including:

                  Participating pre-study
                  Contributing to system solution
                  Writing system, design and testing documents
                  Code implementation, unit testing and other gating tests on both host and target environment
                  Developing functional test cases and performing the test
                  Handle trouble report from integration team

Role specific competence and qualifications:

 

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Telecommunication or related majors.
  • 2-3 years commercial software development experience, in a Linux based environment will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in C and C++. OOD/design pattern will be a plus.
  • Good debugging skill and SW architecture knowledge will be big plus.
  • Familiar with configuration management, such as GIT.
  • Some knowledge in Radio Access Network or communiation system SW will be a plus.

  • (soft skills) Open mind, fast learning and good problem solving skills.
  • (soft skills) Good communication skills, good written English skills
