Experienced System Analyst/Developers for 5G RAN O&M
We are now looking for Experienced System Analyst/Developers for 5G RAN.
At RAN System Management, Ericsson’s visions are turned in to reality. We are now further accelerating our efforts to bring 5G to the market and to support this we are looking for additional Experienced System Analyst/Developers.
Our unit drives the work for 5G RAN O&M related to Radio Resource Management utilising emerging technologies. There are opportunities to work on many interesting and challenging tasks in evolving the Operation and Maintenance functionality of 5G Radio. We are engaged in ONAP, 3GPP standardization and ETSI NFV.
You will act as an interface from product management towards design and verification, delivering high quality analysis and design artefacts in an Agile environment. You will take responsibility for a specific technical area and may engage in customer associated activities as required. You will specify solutions for the evolution from Operator centric functionality to fully automated network Management & Orchestration

RAN System Management is a global organization with units based in Sweden, Canada, Poland, Ireland, Korea and China. This position is based in Athlone, Ireland.

We welcome the opportunity to meet you!
- MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
- More than 5 years of work experience in O&M
- Good knowledge of 4G LTE and evolving 5G mobile communication systems
- Good knowledge of OOAD, Data Modelling, Data Communications Protocols & Techniques.
- Good knowledge of relevant large scale Open Source projects & technologies (e.g. ONAP, Openstack, OpenDaylight, Kubernetes)
- Programming and software development skills
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
- Good teamworking and networking abilities
