Thesis project - Price model for service business
5700 Services suppliers are active in 22 countries executing on scopes of services work for Ericsson resulting in over one million invoices annually. Network Services is key and dynamic business area for Ericsson, driven by evolving portfolio (5G is coming), project way of executing (ramp-up, ramp-down) context per country (customer & supplier market).
Network Services is a highly competitive market place. As a result, next to delivery capabilities, speed, quality and cost level are king for customers. Responding to customer tenders 1st time right within time the gateway is required to remain successful. This includes selecting the right delivery models and contracting the right suppliers against favorable conditions and suitable pricing models. Different supplier price models are handled today per project. Historical ways of working, Network Services dynamics, increased competition and overall industry evolution (other services market emerging) call for an action to review and improve existing pricing models.
Develop an improved price model for Network Roll-out suppliers grouped in the Sourcing Category Group Site Services.
The pricing model must connect towards the Ericsson Delivery Strategy and embedded into the Site Services Sourcing supplier selection, contracting and management process.

Theoretically research (pricing models, other industry benchmarks) and practically grounded research (interviews, Ericsson documentation).
