Job role profile summary:

Responsible for analyzing, designing and developing end-to-end technical solutions based on Tier 1 customer specifications and business needs. Working closely with the Customer Unit CTO team to translate the customer need and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals. Subject matter expert in RAN Optimization, Layer management, product features


Role details:

  • Conducts in-depth discussions with customer's engineering team regarding the technology/performance optimization strategy and key challenges.
  • Analyze customer's technology and business requirements and create new technical offerings
  • Create volume services based on 1st time initiatives
  • Look for creative solutions to reduce cost and increase automation on existing engineering services projects
  • Contribute business/technical case argumentation to C-level
  • Responsible for short and long-term technical solutions
  • Partner with customer's engineering on RF strategy and best practices
  • Identify feature parameter (performance) trials in line with the customer expectations
  • Analyze customer improvement areas and challenges related to technology and processes
  • Monitor at high level delivery and consult on difficult problems
  • Look for opportunities for AoS & best practices improvement

Key Requirements:

  • Education:  BS Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Math/Physics, MS Preferred
  • Experience:  8 to 10 years of engineering/technical experience with at least 3 in a customer facing position
  • Essential Skills:  Oral and verbal communication, critical and analytical thinking, problem solving, active listening/hearing, thought leadership
  • Required Knowledge:  Network planning, design, and optimization/LTE and VoLTE functionality, features, and optimization/statistical analysis and inference
  • Desired Knowledge: 5G technical and market familiarity and a related curiosity that drives/evidence of self driven professional development in areas of data science, analytics, AI/ML
