Be a technical leader when we create the future for Ericsson’s Radio Unit Network products?
We need a technical coordinator for the Early phase program where new concepts are created. Close cooperation with our technical area leaders and a prioritized backlog that secures Ericsson´s future technology leadership will be key.


Work visionary and strategically?
Future networks will have totally different architectures, operate in new scenarios and with new customers. Future Radio products will have more functionality, be smaller, cheaper but more capable and interact a lot more with other RAN network elements. Some examples are AAS, antenna integration, Lower Layer Split, oRAN and interference cancellation.
The technical coordinator will be responsible for the technical scope of the program and the technical content of studies.


Drive business needs and technical reasoning towards clear decisions?
With an early view of future demands, it will be possible to give the right input to decisions today that have impact several years ahead. Guide on missed aspects ensure the customer benefit is crystal clear.


Develop your leadership skills?
Have a central role in PDU Radio and work together with technical leaders from other PDUs like 4G5G and BI.
Coach and support technical study teams in the program in line with settled product strategy.


Work with the most experienced radio engineers in the world?
Constantly developing your competence together with highly competent and motivated colleagues.

Masters or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering / Engineering Physics / Data communication, or equivalent.

Excellent English language skills



  • Strong knowledge of Radio access technologies (WCDMA, LTE, NR) on Radio network level.
  • Strong knowledge in Radio products.
  • Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing
  • >5 years of working experience within system or design within RAN or radio base station development
  • Ability to work with both short-term and long-term objectives, involving the big picture as well as implementation details.
  • Self-motivated, with drive and initiative
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Leadership interest and skills.
  • Outgoing and easy to cooperate
