Who are we?
In this role, you will be a member of the Network Technology team in Lab Operation's Global Network and Technology division. Our group is responsible for both day-to-day operations as well as service evolution in Ericsson's global labs. As a partner with Ericsson’s Research & Development, we strive to guarantee that we are using the correct technology to deliver the best possible environment for our developers. Our environment includes both traditional IT services built on known technologies as well as Ericsson telco products, both of which are needed by our developers to deliver quality products, such as 5G, to our customers. We embrace an ever-changing technology world where we need to bring new technologies into our environment while still guaranteeing stability for our users.
We are now looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Engineer. You will plan and operate the software and hardware solutions within Network, Network Security area for the internal Ericsson users. As an ICT Engineer, you will ensure a stable environment and optimize the solutions/services to the agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner.
You will create cost effective solutions through activities within network, network security design, planning and deployment
You will configure and integrate nodes and solutions into networks (new and existing)
You will maintain the environment at an operative state
You can contribute to continuous improvements in the organization
You will also provide the technical support handling of internal and external customers
IT Processes, tools and infrastructure knowledge
Understanding of different software operating systems
