Position Qualifications

B.E, B. Tech in CS, E&C, MCA from recognized University or equivalent experience.



  • 9-12 years of experience on Application Design, Development & Maintenance of technology solutions in java/J2EE preferably in Media domain with high level of complexity
  • Good understanding on Integration within Middleware, Content Management System, Video On Demand & 3PP components (CDN, LB, HTTV, DRM/CAS, STB).
  • Understanding / Integration knowledge on CA/DRM/nDVR and other associated Media components.
  • Expertise in estimation models, lifecycle models (RUP, Agile etc.), processes and methodologies
  • Be responsible for defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions
  • Experience in addressing non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile development methodologies
  • Strong knowledge on platform best practices and various tools available for test/debugging and application building
  • Responsible for development and deployment of system-level solutions


  • Hands-on at java, spring boot, Rest/Soap web service, hibernate, spring framework, XML, JSON
  • HTML 5, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Database (SQL server/ Oracle/ MySQL/ MongoDB/ Cassandra)
  • Good to have knowledge on C and C++
  • Development experience on Java based application using design patterns, SOA, Micro service, JMS, ESB
  • Good to have Media experience: IPTV backend development\integration knowledge, features known Live TV\EPG\VOD\DRM\DVB\DVR etc.
  • HLD, LLD, functional specification writing experience
  • OS:  Linux & windows
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Cloud experience will be an added advantage
