We, Ericsson Packet Core is a global R&D unit based in Göteborg, Sweden responsible for delivering products and solutions to our many global customers.
We develop mobile core network nodes with market leading functionality, designed for cost effective, reliable, and secure operations.
We are now looking for a new colleague to one of our Network Integration & Verification (NIV) teams!
You will be engaged in the end-to-end integration and verification (testing) of packet core node features, from mobile to Internet.
You will be part of a team that consist of several skilled Solution Verification Engineers and you will build a unique competence in packet core network elements,
such as MME, EPG, but also in Radio nodes. We primarily deploy on various cloud environments, like Ericsson CEE, Redhat, Dell, HP etc. and with the latest
telecom standards including 5G.
Technical competence wanted:
- Experience from working with Packet Core products
- Verification/testing experience including troubleshooting skills
- General Datacom competence (TCP/IP, switching/routing, Wireshark, networking)
- General shell scripting, e.g. BASH
- Python scripting experience is a plus
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- M.Sc., B.Sc. in the Computer, Electrical or Telecommunication Science or similar areas
- Good written and spoken English
