JOB SUMMARY:

We are now looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Architect. You will have the ability to build principles, models and guidelines from strategies. You will convert requirements to develop cost efficient solutions that are consistent between business, information and technology.  You will, also interact with internal stakeholders and external customers to define and provide solutions improving their competitive position.  Finally, to act as an internal consultant for the many IT areas.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Broad knowledge of American and European Network architectures to include IP and International Global Networks.
•Formulates, develops, and implements integrated network architectures.
•Plans future enhancements and directions for Ericsson's Regional and Global secure networks. Develops standards supporting Ericsson network/security systems to include standards for Global Networks, equipment, system security, and routing protocols.
•Provide level 3 expert support for escalations and outages.
•Provides Customer Relations Management Teams a source for technical staff during the implementation, installation, configuration, and technical support of networking architecture and solutions.
•Installs, configures, and maintains network operating systems and application software as required. Provides on-call support for Americas Network and Computer systems as required.
•Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art network and computer systems technologies, architectures, and products.
•TPC implementation and design per Ericsson corporate standards.
•Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
•Support local IT projects with technical design, implementation and support.
•Support of local EITTE US constrained projects that must be supported within the United States borders for compliance.  This includes routers, firewalls along with design implementation and support.
•Lan and wireless support for special projects as needed.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience
•5+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer placing emphasis on operations support, design, and implementation.
•Working Knowledge and Experience with IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, QoS, STP/RSTP, 802.1Q, Juniper –
•Heavy experience with Juniper (Junos, ScreenOS, SSG and SRX product family)
•Experience with configuration of Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama management
•Strong VPN implementation and troubleshooting skills.
•Strong practical knowledge in troubleshooting Routing and Switching problems, Protocols
•Experience with Vmware configuration, installation, virtual switching and Vcenter
•Maintain and Support current and future Network Operations - Network Documents/Diagrams, Traffic Analysis, QoS/VoIP/Video Traffic
•Team player who is flexible and able to work with both internal and external customers.
•Motivated self-starter who has the ability to lead by example and approach technical problems with creative solutions to aid the account team and business development
•Strong knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications, to include IP subnetting and complex routing techniques on LAN/WAN networks and Security
•Advanced knowledge of different types of operating systems. Linuxand Windows are a must.
•Effective presentation, analytical, communications and customer relationship skills
•Proficiency with Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects and associated deliverables. Time management skills are a critical requirement
•On-Call, 24 X 7, responsibilities required
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively within different groups in a diverse community
•Ability to perform installation and cabling of various Network environments.
•Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs
•Experience with Cisco Meraki/wireless design a plus

•Experience with Client Security a plus

•Spanish language skills a plus
