Our Opportunity:

The Key Account Manager – Head of Carrier Sales for MediaKind (formerly Ericsson Media Solutions) will drive sales into a very key segment for the business. This includes the largest Mobile and Broadband Operators in North America. This will include sales across the entire MediaKind portfolio (SW/HW Compression, Video Delivery / Media Edge and TV Platforms / MediaFirst). The Head of Carrier Sales will own the customer relationship at all levels as well as have indirect responsibility for delivery of any associated projects. This area has healthy existing revenue streams, that will need to be protected, as well as upside potential from a growth perspective.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships; from C-suite to the entire organization
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Manage the use of budgets and define optimal sales force structure
  • Hire and develop sales staff
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

 

Experience:

  • Previous experience selling Media / Video products to US Carrier / Mobile Operator
  • Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and sales plans
  • Successful experience selling Software as a Service and Cloud Native solutions
  • Senior Sales roles and a successful experience achieving Sales targets
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities
  • Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data
  • Proven experience working within a small company environment
  • Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team
  • Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership
