Objective of the job

            To improve, audit and maintain ES CD lab environment with good 5S, OHS and security status.

            To support the installer and tester setup work in the ES CD lab.

            The purpose of the engineer role is to install and monitor cost efficient technical and maintenance activities in our Service Delivery environment that meet both, our user’s requirements and their business needs.

 

Responsibilities

           The main responsibilities are:

 

  • Supervise & maintain installed hardware in ES CD labs.
  • Handle administrative tools for request tracking, test environment ordering and asset inventory.
  • Manage 5s, OHS and security in ES CD lab
  • Handle ES CD lab surplus.
  • Support hardware installation including physical connections and power

 

Authority

           To fulfill his responsibilities, the Lab engineer has the following authorities:

 

  • Access to specific workplaces, such as ES CD lab;
  • Access to relevant Ericsson databases systems for ES Lab Ops, such as EriDoc, Sharepoint, GIC start, etc;
  • Report to the ES China BJ Lab Ops Management Team, including regular reporting and escalations.

 

Main tasks

The main task of a Lab Engineer is to work in, and contribute to the ES Lab Ops in the lab TE. This work must be performed in close cooperation with members of Ericsson PDU RA Radio and NPI projects, as well as with members of Ericsson BNEW ES units that exist outside China. The tasks are:

 

  • Supervise & maintain installed hardware in ES CD labs.

Requirements of the job

  • College education in electronic engineering
  • Ericsson 5s, OHS and security knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Ericsson test HW.
  • Good communication skills and social ability, being a team player;
  • Be flexible, enthusiastic, creative and pro-active;
  • Basic English speaking, understanding and writing;
