Senior Developer System

 

Position Summary

As a Function System Developer, you will attend the early phase and product development for Ericsson 3G,4G and 5G RBS products, main activities will be Radio function systemization, documentation.

 

 

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Drive and participate 3G~5G radio product pre-development and early phase study
  • Define and Document 3G~5G Radio function architecture and solution
  • Analyze 3G~5G Radio function impact to RAN feature
  • Define and Document Radio function description as input to radio software design
  • Drive TR solving especially on those software TRs closely related to radio hardware
  • Guide software designer to understand radio function and check if software implementation complies with function definition

 

Position Qualifications

  • MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • At least 3 years of experience working with R&D (design, system or I&V) is required
  • Experience of developing embedded systems (SW and HW) is required
  • Experience of Radio Base Station related R&D and Radio Access technology (GSM WCDMA and LTE) is required
  • Knowledge on radio TX and RX function such as gain control, time delay control, VSWR and antenna calibration, etc.
  • Knowledge on radio hardware basic component and the production calibration method
  • Knowledge on O&M of base station such as carrier set-up and delete process, fault management, radio access and configure process and radio software management is preferred
  • Knowledge on CPRI including Layer1,2,3 is preferred
  • Knowledge on DDC/DUC, CFR and DPD is preferred
  • Service minded and self-motivated
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
