Job Summary:

The GSC-China Business Excellence (BE) manager is the member of the BMAS Global Service Center (GSC) China leadership team and he/she reports directly to Head of Global Site China and acts as both the organization wide lean 6-sigma and quality & compliance expert to drive world class implementation of improvement/compliance initiatives across all the hosted service delivery units and FLOWs. The role must have extensive work experiences with GSC China organziation and be capable of leading and driving change in a fast paced environment effectively and with the ability to work within the organization at all levels and with all hosted SDU/FLOW functions, ultimately creating substantial values within GSC-C 5 city sites.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Drive GSC-China 6-Sigma improvement projects
  • Lead Corporate and Partner Audit planning and assessments, partnership certification audits (e.g. ISO, OHS, Anti-Corruption, Trade Compliance, 3PP Assessments/Audits)
  • Provide guidance to all SDU functions within GSC-China regarding the use and best practice of lean 6-Sigma methodology
  • Partner with QOE team in each SDU leadership team to assist with any improvement opportunities
  • Drive Technology for Good initiatives (e.g Technology startups, Incubator etc..)
  • Drive GSC-C relationship building with Government and Industry Bodies and Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility (S&CR) initiatives
  • Execute and manage GSC-C competitiveness programs
  • Drive BMAS GSC wide strategic programs
  • Anchoring customer & market area visits presenting “One Ericsson” face and ensure consistent messaging, in collaboration with Communications

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: B.SC or bachelor degree or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • Fluent English Skills
  • Fluent Mandarin Skills
  • Lean 6-Sigma Yellowbelt/Greenbelt/Blackbelt certification
  • Deep understanding of GSCC organization and its ways-of-workings
  • Good understanding of IQA process 
  • Good knowledge of DMAIC process
  • Knowledge of Service Delivery process
  • Knowledge of the ESDM, MSTOP process
  • Excellent social and communication skills
  • Data analytics skills
  • Improvement project management
  • Worked with virtual teams (Site, SDU/FLOW)
  • Leading, supervising, and responding to change in a high pace environment

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong collaboration and cooperation skills with other 3 GSCs
  • PMI certifications (PMP, PgMP)
