In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Reference designs, hands-on implementation, and day-to-day management of cloud automation code deliverables
  • Providing technical and subject matter expertise for establishing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery frameworks
  • Developing automation tools for deployment and testing of enterprise cloud platforms
  • Providing thought leadership in Cloud technology including virtualisation, hypervisors, storage and security.
  • Leading the solution analysis, solution design (and where required) leading local and offshore technical teams.
  • Lead and contribute with presentations and discussions in customer workshops, providing cloud business solutions and technical expertise.
  • Share and transfer knowledge, presenting to others on latest solutions and new releases.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for less experienced members of the team.



As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering/ICT or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud-based provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and related DevOps technologies.
  • Experience with manipulating APIs to programmatically automate manual tasks
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Strong Linux experience.
  • Strong experience in infrastructure development including automation and scripting
  • Understanding of challenges faced by customers while transitioning to cloud technology.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. VMWare, AWS, Cisco, Redhat) would be considered an advantage but not essential .
  • Experience gained within an IT, Consulting or Telco organisation
  • Strong people and communication skills.
