Job Summary:

Test development in Kumla is a part of Product Development Unit Radio and we have a global responsibility for radio production development. In Kumla the focus is on the early integration phase, but we have a responsibility throughout our products life cycles. As our responsibility is global, there are great opportunities for traveling both within Sweden and abroad.

The main scope is:

  • Secure producibility on PCB (Printed Circuits Board) and PBA (Printed Boards Assembly).
  • Secure and follow up that new building practice within PCB and PBA area will work in volume production.
  • Working close with design and layout resources for early prototype builds
  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.  
  • Perform trouble shooting and customer support
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Develop competence in technical domai


Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum Academic degree or equivalent job experience. (Master of Science (Civ. Ing) or equivalent job experience or Bachelor of/Master of Science in economics (Civ.ek) or equivalent job experience.
  • You should be comfortable with reading and speaking both conversational and technical English and Swedish.
  • CAM tools knowledge Ex. Valor from Mentor Graphics
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Supply Chain knowledge
  • Flexible, take own initiatives, result-and quality-oriented
  • Presentation skills, both verbally and writing
  • Ability to communicate effectively and quickly adapt to new assumptions
  • Experience from working in development projects
  • Familiar with following Ericsson tools; PRIM, Eliza
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Planning and Organizing
