BMAS IT Managed Services operates a tools program called MITO.  MITO is a tools framework which allows our managed services operations teams to deliver their service rapidly and efficiently.  The focus of the tools is the management of IT domains, including BSS and cloud domains, applications, infrastructure and third party IT systems.  MITO has been under development since 2017, and we hope to complete the main development work this year.  We are now moving into the phase of industrialising the program, including building and training the teams which shall work on customisation and adaptation work for each customer engagement, as well as building and deploying automation.  We are a young and dynamic group of over 90 people, and we expect to grow to over 100 during 2018

Job Summary:

We are now looking for an Integration Engineer to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of IT Operations tools to manage different IT systems. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, upgrade expansion, functionality and capacity.  Your work will in part form our customer legacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with internal Ericsson BDGS product experts and external IT product experts to create monitoring capabilities using Zabbix, ELK.   (Products are BSS projects, NFVI products, generic IT, and complex enterprise applications)
  • Working with Ansible, JBPM, Drools, Eclipse, Apache Camel and other tools to build automation functionality.
  • Creating maps and dashboards in Zabbix and Grafana
  • Creating report templates using Jasper
  • Working with testing team to define testing use cases for above items
  • Producing internal and external documentation for the above items
  •  Working with end users (IT NOC operations teams) as needed to understand requirements, perform on-site training and hand-holding.
  • Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills

Key Qualifications:

  • Education:  Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or 
  • 2- 5 years of Telecom/IT experience implementation and deployment of IT service assurance systems – fault, performance, reporting, etc solutions.

Importance for candidate to have

Strong working knowledge of at least one of the following IT or network management software such as Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti, Netcool, HP Openview

Working experience on Zabbix (install, configure, create adaptations, create templates

Strong plus point, but training will be given

Good knowledge on Zabbix APIs, macros, log file/ SNMP integration, JMX, DB monitoring, low level discovery, etc
